Bjorn was born in November of 2000 and is an avid fan of karting and motorsports. He is competing for his second year in a row in the Youth Series of the Canadian Rookie Karting Championship (CRKC). With his first year of competitive motorsports under his belt he's looking forward to even greater success in 2011. He finished in second place in his division and 12th overall in the 2010 CRKC final standings. He's confident he can do even better this year. For Bjorn, 2011 will be focused primarily on fun and learning and more advanced karting techniques and race craft. The 2011 Youth Series looks to be an exciting and challenging one. Come on out and cheer Bjorn on!

Canadian Rookie Karting Championship

The single best way to get into racing, like many other things, is to start at an early age. In 2011 we will, again, be competing in the Canadian Rookie Karting Championship held at Goodwood Kartways in Goodwood, Ontario.

Goodwood Kartways is one of the oldest continuously operated kart racing facilities in North America and home to world-renowned international drivers including Ron Fellows, Paul Tracy, and Scott Goodyear among many others. We are looking forward to another very exciting year of competitive karting at Goodwood this year. Christiansen Racing highly recommends Goodwood Kartways.

We will also be publishing all karting races from our driver perspective on YouTube™ where you will be able to watch the races from the driver's perspective.

Also, feel free to join us trackside for any of the posted karting events, from practice sessions to races. Practice sessions are held at any time (check for details), however, all regular season races are at 7pm.
